Review of I Am the Pretty Thing That Lives in the House (2016) by Matt K — 29 Oct 2016
Oz Perkins being the son of Anthony Perkins, I had no doubts about his ability to put tension in films. He does this excellently with I Am The Pretty Thing That Lives In The House. Ruth Wilson and the score are the two brightest spots.
Ruth Wilson able to showcase curiosity, and pure terror in scenes were great. The score was especially unsettling, making scenes that much more dramatic to me.
