A sweet movie but unrealistic plot-wise and unbelievable. At times, it's simply cringe-worthy and I was beginning to wonder when it would end. Sean Penn went over the top here and the whole concept of the plot was pretty much an obvious Oscar-bait, which fortunately was somewhat seen.
I don't understand the rave around Sean Penn; I'm yet to see him deliver a solid and believable performance. I'm beginning to question his overrated stardom and can easily see why it is he barely acts anymore.
