I am sam is the only movie that made me shed a tear,people can pan penn's performance,but you have to appreciate it,to play the role as he did,is truly moving, Sure it's sappy,and drowned in emotion,but that's the point.

It is a hollywood movie,with a hollywood ending,but you have to see between that to the performances of the actors,and the story itself. I don't understand why it's so panned by critics,Your judgement is terrible!
