Review of I Am Sam (2001) by Etan V — 10 Feb 2010

Sean Penn is a great actor. This film proves that. Michelle also gained a lot of respect for me in this film. But besides that there is no real reason to watch this film. The story was slow, and it didn't seem to go anywhere.

The biggest complement I had though I had is that it did not confidence me of the them. I honestly did not think that Sam should have gained rights the child. And the movie tried to make me think he should.

Though Tropic Thunder about going "full retard" is funny, I think it would have worked with just a better story.
