Review of I Am Omega (2007) by John T — 15 Jul 2008
Another cracking piece of knock off DTV nonsense - starring Mr Mark Dacascos no less, who IMHO ought to have done so much better than he has (I give you this by way of evidence) since the brilliant Drive and quite splendid Brotherhood of the Wolf. What happened, Mark?
And here's the review...
Well, sometimes you get what you pay for and in that respect, I cannot feel cheated out of my £2.97. I suspect with my cash they've probably clawed back at least half of their budget. There's more holes in the plot than you'd find in a swiss cheese, the main one being he's not the last man on earth (don't think i'm spoiling anything here as there are other names in the cast!). I've seen poorer films than this, and with bigger budgets. If you like your ultra-cheap b-movies and you set your expectations low enough then you could do worse. Mark Dacascos makes it just about watchable and as I've said before, really needs to be put into a decent action movie...
