Review of I Am Number Four (2011) by Johnny D — 13 May 2012
I AM NUMBER FOUR was not terrible, but far from great. Nice visuals and decent final 15 mins. of action. The only thing different than every other sci-fi film featuring teenagers with powers is the lack of tongue-in-cheek comedy - which in this case, made the film stronger.
The story stayed a serious course while towing the high school love story. But on the flip side of the coin, there's nothing in this movie that you haven't seen already. A sequel to this film might make it more significant.
