Review of I Am Number Four (2011) by Sawyer B — 06 Oct 2012
There is nothing inherently wrong with this movie, but it just sort of misses anyway. Agron proves she isn't much more than a pretty face. Olyphant is lackluster at best. Pettyfer tries his best. The story is a bit muddled, and quite derivative (hell, the TV show Roswell had virtually the same plot). The action is energetic but it is hard to see if it is going somewhere or driving the plot.
In the end, it misses too much to recommend, even as a gag or a one-off watch.
