Review of I Am Number Four (2011) by Joseph B — 04 Mar 2012
Overall not too bad, but a lot of unanswered questions. Perhaps the book, which I have not read, answers these. But shouldn't the movie try to? For instance, if each of the nine are assigned numbers, why would their enemy, the Mogadorians, limit themselves to killing them in numerical order? And where's number five? And if the Loriens' planet was destroyed already by the apparently superior power of the Mogadorians, what chance do nine.
..hmm, now six, Loriens really have? And if they are more powerful together why wasn't there a plan in place to get them together to thus be more powerful. And how are their guardians supposed to protect them when apparently they aren't all that powerful.
And how are they going to repopulate their species if number four and number six do not get together? Let's hope at least one of the remaining four is male and will get that done. Okay, you get my drift.
