Review of I Am Number Four (2011) by Antony G — 10 Jul 2012
Didn't expect this to be any good but it's a thoroughly entertaining Sci-Fi film with some new twists to the Alien Genre. It has the feel of an American teen series like One Tree Hill, from the style of acting to the musical score, rather than a Hollywood blockbuster. Also the film posses more questions than answers & hopefully a sequel is on the cards to quench our curiosity. Some great CGI & fights scenes reminiscent of Alien v Predator (my thoughts) as two Alien species battle it out.
John Smith is hiding out on Earth from an alien race called the Mogadorians who are hell bent on wiping out his race. But John Smith is an Extra Terristial with unique powers him & eight others posses. He is destined for greater things but the Mogadorians are hunting these nine down,in numerical order, until they are all dead. Three have fallen & John is Number Four! Maybe in a sequel we will find out why these remaining six are special & why the Mogadorians want them dead.
