Review of I Am Mother (2019) by Muldjord — 17 Jun 2019
If you can overlook a few things that don't quite seem to make sense in the overall plot and logic, this is a gorgeous, eerie, well-acted sci-fi drama. The movie is well put together and Mother (which is human actor in a practical effect suit, not CGI) is incredibly believable throughout.
There's enough twists and turns to keep the viewer engaged, although it does struggle a bit at times to explain things well enough to the point where some things just doesn't seem to fit. But it is by no means something that ruins the overall plot.
