Review of I Am Love (2010) by Sandy K — 19 Feb 2011
Elegantly filmed, with delicious imagery in every way. Tilda Swinton's understated performance as the Russian-born wife of a wealthy Italian is brilliant. It's a slow-moving story, but the pace works well to capture the complicated emotions of a family that preaches "unity" while slowing unraveling.
Set mostly in Italy, it shouldn't be surprising that food is at the heart of this story.
