Review of I Am Legend (2007) by Chrisc — 09 Jan 2008

It wasn't THAT bad as some of these cynics are suggesting. But the CG effects were unnecessary in places and the plot was rather predictable. I thought Will Smith did a commendable job carrying the film with quiet intensity performance that is basically anti-Independence Day (even the token dog plays it down).

For the best recent attempts at films of this genre I would still choose 28 Days or Weeks Later over this.
