Review of I Am Legend (2007) by Joe C — 23 Dec 2012
This was a good film by pure script writing, and camera directive. As far as good a film by acting, it holds no special ability from anyone. Will Smith does a good job but no oscar worthy. I like the idea of him being a scientist who constantly trying to fix the issue, and not just survive.
The dog thing works very well too. What I thought was stupid was that they put so much time and thought into sections of the story that don't matter. They are constantly pushing forward that he is all alone, and there is no chance of him ever coming in contact with humans again, but when shit breaks loose, he is saved by a person, big shock.
It was some stupid little things that add up to make this a better book than movie.
