Review of I Am Legend (2007) by Luca Maria M — 08 Jan 2016

I didn't read the book, that i'm told is very good, but I like post apocalyptic settings and here they are created it in a very convincing way. I enjoyed Will Smith's performance and I liked the fact his only friend was a dog.

But I really didn't like how the CGI of the zombies: before they appeared I was really liking the movie, but when after that I felt all of the magic was off. I would like to see it with more convincing creatures: that's one of those case in which practical effects (like the simple make up of "28 Days Later" infected people) can be way more effective than bad CGI.
