Review of I Am David (2003) by Kady U — 20 Oct 2006
Brilliant casting, although if you're a true lover of the story, I think we all have personal images of David to call our own. In this case, my David wasn't Ben Tibber, I thought he was sort of terrible really, but has magnificent eyes that convey a lot of the emotion that cannot otherwise be expressed.
But anyway, it is touching and beautiful. The only bit that lacked was the ending, being it wasn't accurate and sort of let the rest of the film down. A shame, but can be overlooked.
