Slightly whimsical period piece about the invention of the vibrator. Yes, that's right. Basically, higher society women see this doctor who thinks that the majority of women in London suffer from hysteria for any ailment that they have and all their ailments are caused by an over active uterus, lol.
Through the course of the movie , the vibrator is created to 'help' these women overcome their Hysteria. Silly, but enjoyable flick.
