Review of Hypnotic (2023)

By Robbie Collin (1,612) for The Telegraph (1,120) on 12 May 2023

An entirely uproarious 90 minutes at the cinema which asks nothing more of its audience than that they keep their incredulity suspended for…

Review of Hypnotic (2023)

By Richard Roeper (2,737) for Chicago Sun-Times (7,580) on 12 May 2023

Review of Hypnotic (2023)

By Brian Lowry (913) for CNN (497) on 12 May 2023

A spare thriller from director/co-writer Robert Rodriguez that has the feel of a “Twilight Zone” episode, with no shortage of twists along…

Review of Hypnotic (2023)

By Simon Abrams (730) for RogerEbert.com (5,563) on 12 May 2023

Hypnotic may not be clever or energetic enough to keep your mind from wandering, but it is charming in its own stumbling way…

Review of Hypnotic (2023)

By Christian Zilko (32) for IndieWire (3,631) on 11 May 2023

It feels like an utterly ridiculous film before you hit the multitude of twists that blow up its already-shaky premise a dozen times over…

Review of Hypnotic (2023)

By Jesse Hassenger (800) for Paste Magazine (2,906) on 11 May 2023

Blended with its 2000s plot points are the expedience, blunt dialogue and noirish venetian-blind shadows of a mid-to-lower-tier 1940s genre…

Review of Hypnotic (2023)

By Richard Whittaker (567) for Austin Chronicle (7,653) on 11 May 2023

Review of Hypnotic (2023)

By Benjamin Lee (469) for The Guardian (2,969) on 11 May 2023

Review of Hypnotic (2023)

By Katie Walsh (1,279) for Los Angeles Times (12,977) on 11 May 2023

It’s fun to see [Rodriguez] color in new shades of film genre, but the script and performances in “Hypnotic” are too laughably absurd…

By David Fear (910) for Rolling Stone (4,035) on 11 May 2023
