More of a footnote than essential viewing, Hyde Park on Hudson boasts a strong cast and an intriguing premise. The result fails to excite, but the reconstruction of Bertie & Elizabeth's pre-war diplomatic visit to the philandering Roosevelt's country estate will interest history buffs, and Bill Murray, Laura Linney, Olivia Williams and Olivia Colman are as watchable as ever.
