Review of Hustlers (2019) by The3Academysins — 16 Sep 2019
In a lot of ways, Hustlers is a really fresh film. The plot is innovative and engaging. The acting performances are stellar, particularly Jennifer Lopez, who delivers one of her best performances in years.
However, something about the pacing and story just feels empty. The second act in particular just feels cliche and lackluster in spite of the premise. It's still a good watch, but I feel some scenes just dragged on and on.
