Review of Hustler White (1996) by Matt M — 29 Jul 2013
Hustler White doesn't worry too much about crossing the line between arthouse cinema and pornography and as a matter of fact, the pornographic structure eventually takes over. While its satire and moments of somewhat unexpected sweetness eventually take over, it's hard not to see this film by the always provocative Bruce LaBruce as a exploitative and sometimes tasteless exercise in New Queen Cinema.
