Review of Hush... Hush, Sweet Charlotte (1964) by Cameron M — 15 Feb 2011
Post-Baby Jane camp, but still well done. Olivia De Havilland is perfect as the scheming Miriam, and Agnes Moorehead made me ache with laughter as Velma the hillbilly housekeeper, but it's Bette's show once again! Pity about crappy Joseph Cotten's apalling timing and none-too subtle attempts at scene-stealing (which fail).
