Review of Hush... Hush, Sweet Charlotte (1964) by Myles L — 15 Feb 2011
Somewhat limp sequel to Baby Jane with Joan Crawford driven out by real life rival Bette Davis and replaced with Olivia De Havilland. Not surprisingly Bette hams it up chewing up the scenery with an equally hammy over the top performace from Agnes Moorehead as a couple of old southern crazies.
More ham than you local butchers!Only poor old mary Astor manages an almost credible performance in this delicous nonsence.
