Review of Hush (2016) by James R — 17 Apr 2016
Really enjoyed this one. A different take on the whole crazy killer chasing after a young lady in her home. Hush is about an author named Maddie (Kate Siegel) who lives out in a more remote area. She is totally deaf and cannot speak either.
She lives in isolation and only talks to her neighbor Sarah (Kate Siegel) occasionally through sign language. One night a psychotic man appears and begins to stalk and hunt down Maddie. Maddie at first isn't aware because she can't hear anything or cry out for help.
It's a really cool kind of cat and mouse. Maddie is smart and has to rely on vibrations and feelings to get around. There isn't a lot of dialogue obviously, so at times it can kinda feel like its slowing down, but overall it has some very good pacing.
Any thriller or horror fans give this one a look its a smart one.
