Review of Hush (2016) by Jon C — 12 Oct 2017
Perhaps a tad overrated than it should be but it still has some good things going for it.
Katie Siegel is really good in the lead playing a writer whom is very successful but the thing is she is deaf.
Given the fact that she lives alone in the woods it's the perfect plan for a masked psycho to stalk her.
Plus it puts her at a disadvantage since she cant call for help or drive away or she will die.
Like I said she's really good playing someone whom has to fend for herself, the only stuff that makes the film from being perfect is well a lot of it is shot in the dark so that makes it hard to tell what's going on plus they show this stalker's face way too early.
I think that could have been set up a bit better towards the end.
Still it has enough of a trapped home-invasion thrill plus enough blood to keep it interesting.
Maybe it's just too loved as a small horror flick.
I still found it watchable.
