Review of Hush (2016) by Billy S — 21 Apr 2016

This is one super creepy movie not for the faint hearted. It takes a lot to scare me but this did the trick. The claustrophobic feeling of being deaf combined with the taunting masked maniac make this film extremely nightmarish.

I have to say though that I wished he kept the mask on because once his face was visible it somehow decreased the terror for me. There was no rhyme or reason to why this killer was on the rampage except that he is a maniac and sometimes in movies like this they can seem a bit pointless but this one really pulls it off well.

The 'Scream' franchise pales in comparison.
