Review of Husbands and Wives (1992) by Christine R — 25 Jan 2008
I'm a huge Woody Allen fan. He is my all time favorite director.
That being said, this is one of my favorites of his. Completely underrated.
Allen is a master of creating the perfect scene of social interactions, making them still seem real rather than larger than life. Believable and interesting as he depicts married life and most importantly the psychology of families and friends.
