Review of Husbands and Wives (1992) by Karlo M — 25 Jan 2009
I haven't experienced an Allen film filled with as much maturity, cynicism, and genuiness as much as Husbands and Wives. Brilliant performances all around. The camerawork and jumpcut edits is probably the most dynamic I've seen in any of Allen's canon of work.
Just absolutely stunning work. I'll have to come back for a more insightful review. I'm still reeling from it.
