Review of Hurlyburly (1998) by Adam W — 27 Feb 2009
One of those films that gets crticised for being based on a play and being too "stagey". Not the case for me. Granted, its all dilogue but hey, people talk and don't always run around and shit.
The characters are pretty dislikeable on the whole but the actors are all brilliant which makes them always watchable, particularly (as usual), Penn.
