Review of Hunter Prey (2010) by Ross H — 13 Jan 2011

I probably would have liked this before cable, even before pbs when there were only 3 channels (yes I'm that old). I remember waiting to see what was on saturday and sunday afternoons with baited breath.

Made for less than 500,000 (two stars for that alone) they put it all on the screen. Really it does not look that low budget at all. I just wish I had been interested in the film a lot more. Apparently this movie has basically received positive reviews.

It must be me because I was bored a lot of the time. Basically a guy on a planet looking for another guy on a planet (an alien?, a prisoner, who cares?) With a lot of talking and messing with a wrist talking thing since there's no budget you can't really show anything except desert like surroundings, hence a barren planet.

If I had a watch on I would have looked at it a lot. Maybe I'm wrong. But I don't want to be right.
