Review of Hunt for the Wilderpeople (2016) by Drlowdon — 04 Nov 2017
When his foster carer dies suddenly young Ricky Baker and his “uncle” Hec end up being chased through the New Zealand bush by child welfare services and seemingly half the countries police force.
Hunt for The Wilderpeople, which was written and directed by Taika Waititi of Thor: Ragnarok fame, is a quirky and enjoyable little comedy adventure with the leads sharing great on screen chemistry. It doesn’t exactly reinvent the wheel but it is well worth a watch.
