Review of Human Nature (2001) by Gus O — 06 Jan 2009
There are a lot of quirky and funny moments in this movie. I found one of the most entertaining gags of the movie was seeing Tim Robbins's character in purgatory. The quirkiness is where Charlie Kaufman's writing shines through, but the movie didn't seem as welt thought in in certain places.
The main area I felt could have used some improvement was the ending. I did like what he was saying about society and what being "civilized" means compared to living "purely." Interesting and thought provoking nonetheless.
