Review of Human Nature (2001) by Simon D — 21 Nov 2009
Gondrys earliest feature length, and its funny if a bit disjointed. it deals with a lot of ideas, and, in that, it gets manic in some sections, but the performances are interesting for the most part and the ideas that it does deal with are interesting and fun.
and it does all those things with a great sense of humor. its certainly not all it could have been, and kaufmans script is not fully realized here. but thats alright. its not a disaster.
