Review of Human Nature (2001) by Elijah B — 19 Sep 2011
No surprise then that this one is inventive and quirky. Explores the human primal sexual instinct and do we really love? Also pokes fun at society's views of a "civilised" society when a man raised by an ape is trained in the rules of etiquette and manners and as a by-product learns to be duplicitous and manipulative. The scientist conducting the experiment rejects his girlfriend (that he supposedly loves) when he learns of her secret physical abnormality and later wants her back when she permanently fixes the problem and shows up all buff and self confident to rub it in his face. Really enjoyed the cast and the subtle humour (and not so subtle!?).
