Review of Hulk Vs. (2009) by Oxana . — 07 Jan 2013
Hulk vs. Thor.
Loki proceeds to bring the Hulk to Asgard while Odin is still snoozing during Odinsleep - and it falls onto Thor to battle the monster when all else fails.
The plot was actually more complex than that, well executed and bringing out the many side-stories that existed beneath the main arch, highlighting multiple characters in a very favorable manner.
The animation and overall execution were all good, bringing to life a story that didn't offer anything new and breathtaking, but rather an old-fashioned hero-smashing showdown.
Hulk vs. Wolverine.
The story leaned more towards Weapon X than Hulk and Wolvie actually butting heads, and that took away a bit from what could have been expected from the story.
Besides that, the short film had all the blood, carnage and violence that befits a meeting of Hulk and 'claw people'.
A life-saver was the hilarious performance of Deadpool, no way around it.
Nothing thrilling but definitely fun to watch.
