Review of Hulk Vs. (2009) by Chad R — 28 Oct 2009
Well crafted anime that bumps up in the gore and dialogue categories to become a light but interesting pair of shorts that employ comic book style scraps as the central events, but that is fine given the subject matter.
As a metaphor for the rage inside humans, the Hulk is a superficial character who challenges one to wonder why it became so popular. Enter our other heroes and villians to give some depth and comic relief.
I found the Wolverine Vs Hulk to be more interesting, and the voice-overs are great, especially for the character Deadpool who exists as the comic foil.
This is a step in a better direction than Marvel animes that I have watched in the past, and it would be nice if they expanded on things from this point.
