Review of Hulk (2003) by Alex P — 16 Jan 2012
Unfairly panned and dismissed. The comic book production style at points felt a little bit forced, and the last fight sequence was completely unnecessary, but the rest of the movie is compelling psych-drama.
Great tension that is built as we watch the tug and pull of Bruce's psyche. Ang is a storyteller first and foremost, and he does his job here. I still get upset sometimes when I think of all the people who dismissed this film because they were expecting more Hulk smash.
