Review of Hulk (2003) by Deanna F — 19 May 2012
Whatever you may find fault with in Ang Lee's foray into comic book territory, one thing you can't deny is the masterful way he translates the feel of reading a comic book to the big screen. That said, I prefer to think of this film as the thinking man's super hero movie.
Everything I hated about Sam Raimi's Spiderman I loved about Ang Lee's Hulk: characters you actually care about, a believable, loving relationship between the leads, a villain that is creepier than he is silly, CGI that doesn't look like I'm watching someone play a video game.
