Review of Hulk (2003) by George B — 07 May 2015
I think I really just don't see the appeal of the Hulk as a character. This isn't a very good movie to base an opinion on, I admit, but even the Edward Norton version from 2008 didn't thrill me.
This movie is stylized a little too much like a comic. It uses panels like a comic, in a fashion that becomes grating at times. The Hulk isn't very convincing, though I give this film a little credit for attempting to make the Hulk look like Eric Bana.
..the 2008 version didn't look anything like Norton. The story is also long winded and boring. Long stretches of film where I barely could follow what was going. This wasn't because its so complicated, but because nothing all that interesting happens on screen and I couldn't stay focused on the story.
All in all its just a weak movie, that lacked any real spark of interesting storytelling.
