I think this doesn't quite work as there is so much exposition spoken, which makes it seem incredibly clunky and Eric Bana is so truly awful as Banner Jn that there's just no way you could say this was a good film.
That said, it's close - I love the son of Banner angle, Connelly is a sweetheart in maybe her best role but the star is Ang Lee and the editing suite. This is beautifully shot, the transitions both indulgent and impeccable and the CGI still awe inspiring 8 years later.
If Bana could act, this would have been a triumph - who cast him? Please tell me it's not because he had the same last name?
