Review of Hulk (2003) by Alexander R — 17 Mar 2013

I really hated this movie. Always a fan of the TV show and not really of the comics, but what this movie was is nothing like the TV show.

First, why did Lee cut it this way? The comic panels grow annoying instantly and often distract in the action scenes.

Bana was okay, but out shined by Connelly in every scene. Nolte was a mess.

The whole idea that it isn't rage that brings out the Hulk, but daddy issues was simply stupid. The other bad guy in the end was also stupid. Hulk dogs: stupid. The idea that the more angry Hulk gets, the bigger he gets was lame too.

I honestly think the Hulk will ever be good in small doses like in The Avengers. But this was the worst big screen outing he ever had.
