Review of Hukkle (2002) by Malini P — 08 Dec 2007
A visual treat - a brilliant debut work by a hungarian, that cannot be classified into a single genre. The story is told in a series of normal day to day activities in a typical village life - without any dialogue.
A series of seemingly natural and boring shots on people and nature are wonderfully potrayed to convey a subtle and sinister plot. A real test on your patience and grey cells!
