Fucking well made boredom. I hate when this happens. There isn't really much wrong with this movie except it is so FUCKING MELODRAMATIC and boring to me. It was also a jerk off fest for cinephiles who love old school cinema.
(And I love old school films). But this was just overboard. All the cute little references. It was just like Scorsese wanted to do a documentary on early film wrapped up in a Disney storyline. Seriously.
How did this get nominated for an oscar? Because it sucks on old films dicks the whole time? And cause Scorsese thought it would be cool and go against the grain and make a children's movie? The worst part about it all, it is very well fucking made, so well made, it is boring, typical, and melodramatic.
Not a big fan. Meh Concept. Good Execution. Don't watch it, unless you just want to say, "I've seen ever Scorsese movie".
