Too cool for its time - cult classic.
It was the biggest bomb in it's day thanks mostly to bad marketing - but really, this was never going to be every bodies cup of tea. It's so zany and silly that I'm amazed they spent the money on it. I can still remember the first time I watched it and while I was enjoying it I didn't really know where it was coming from, untill when Bruce Willis is being dragged along on a gurny by a speeding Ambulance and someone tosses a cigerette which he then catches and smokes. My point is that this movie is truely all over the place and takes its time revealling its cards. All that said - I fucking love it! It's silly, it's zany, it's all over the place, it's violent and it features jokes like: "You want me to rape him?".
Great chemistry all round and it's got Bruce being cool, so....
