Review of Howling (2012) by Nate A — 09 Sep 2012

This is a very misleading movie. Maybe it was my fault, but judging from the title and description, I assumed this would be about werewolves. It is not. It's about a trained dog who kills people.

Yep.

And if that wasn't too stupid for you, every cop movie cliche is there too: new partners who don't get along, inherit sexism in what is regarded as a man's profession, young hot shot rookie who is eager to prove themselves...I could go on.

I will say, that it is competently made and there are a few pretty intense moments. Not enough to save it though. Not by a long shot.
