Review of Howl (2010) by Julia A — 01 Feb 2011
Pretty decent film. I liked the direction the film took and the story. Franco's acting was superb, the best part of the film. My problem was the film jumping around way too much between the 4 or 5 scenes that it follows, all at different places in time.
It didn't jump around every 20 minutes though, it was more like every 5 minutes. The animated segments gave a nice interpretation of the poetry but felt out of place sometimes. See it if you like Franco's acting or controversial works of literature.
It's interesting, just not for everyone.
