Poorly animated, terribly impersonated (Franco is completely responsible, sadly) and ineptly directed film that would have been infinitely more effective in documentary form.
The counter-productive nature of deconstructing a poem as brilliant and impulsive as 'Howl' makes this a completely indulgent and unnecessary exercise.
Read the poem. Don't watch this.
