Is there anything James France can't do? [Besides do a good job hosting the Oscars] Franco does a surprisingly brilliant job portraying Allen Ginsberg. Franco even eerily looked like Ginsberg did in that time, before he grew his long beard.
I lot of people have complained about the animated segments and for most of the film I agreed with them. The animated segments eventually became a great way to visualize the poem. Although the segments that felt more hand-drawn and sketchy were far better than the CGI segments.
