Review of Howl (2010) by Jamie B — 26 Apr 2012

Howl is great movie about very interesting subject. Movie progresses forward in four different "dimensions". In one Allen Ginsberg is giving a reading of poem "Howl" in some jazzy club. In second one he is giving an interview about his poetry and career. In third one, we're experiencing a trial about the poem Howl concerning about it's indecency. And the last "dimension" is animated version of the Howl.

I didn't first like the style of the animation, but after a while I didn't notice it anymore. But becouse of the animated part, I can only give 4 stars to otherwise perfect movie. James Franco was awesome in playing Allen. And actually it's his best role ever IMO.
