Review of Howl (2010) by Terry G — 02 May 2014
5 Stars: I must admit and insist that the poem itself is what earns all of my five stars; that it would be sacrilegious to call this film anything but Holy! Holy! Holy! unless the film clearly violated the spirit of the poem or the poet.
To the contrary; Howl the Poem and Howl the Movie are both essential and human and beautiful and historically significant expressions. It matters less WHAT is expressed, it matters that Howl is truth and my heart and tears embraced the truth thanks to this film.
See it ... probably more than once.
