Review of Howards End (1992) by Madeline M — 30 Sep 2007
Beautifully shot and acted, but the film loses much of the subtlety of the novel. It's not necessarily their fault, though it was Forster's best it's much too cerebral and ironic to be a movie. Adapting it was a very, very bad idea.
